Sacred Heart School

Sacred Heart School was setup on the 8th June, 1993 as a proprietorship concern in a rented building at C.N.Roy road in Picnic garden with an aim to provide quality education at affordable cost to the local population belonging to the economically weaker sections of society. The school started with only 4 children but in a span of 6 months started growing and in a year’s time became extremely popular with parents belonging to Picnic Garden. Very soon the classes had to be extended every year and within 3 years the school has expanded upto the kindergarten sections. The revolutionary approach of providing education to children at the age group of 2+ years was first started by our school because it was found that children in Picnic Garden never went to school before the age of 6 years. By popular demand the school expanded to classes I to IV in 2002 /2003 and in 2007 the school had expanded upto class VI and in 2009 the school had expanded from classes VII to X. During this time the school shifted to a new place in Prasanna Naskar Lane in Picnic Garden with more rooms and space to meet the expansion. The school by that time had started 2 shifts to accommodate children studying there.
